Inspired by Captain William Schot, Holberg’s second-in-command, this seaside cabin stands where the old watchtowers once rose. With sweeping views across the harbour, the historic coastal landscape and the open sea, Schot is a quiet retreat shaped by water, horizon and stillness.

A quiet seaside cabin dedicated to John Grov (1909–1991) — painter, photographer and storyteller of the Norwegian coast. Born on the island of Atløy, he spent a lifetime capturing the boats, farms, boathouses and weather-shaped shores of the fjord. Here, guests look out across the same coastal landscape that inspired his work — a place of water, changing light and stories carried through generations.

The name Eldur means fire — a symbol of warmth, gathering and life. Facing the quiet bay, the cabin welcomes its guests with soft materials, the scent of the sea and the sound of water against stone. A place for stories, a glass of wine and stars above the fjord.

Vár Cabin rests at the water’s edge, surrounded by the quiet of nature. Its name is drawn from the Norse goddess Vár, associated with promises, devotion and love. Here, understated elegance meets a serene coastal atmosphere — a place where moments linger long after the tide has gone out.
